大家好，跟大家介紹一下～

這是 mōrch，是本山人的一個 side project。

'monster orchestra' 的縮寫，象徵著一個能夠探索不同風格的人設，透過與不同藝術家跟音樂人合作帶出不同的味道，未來也能看到與更多藝術家以及音樂人的合作。

其實原本計畫在 2015 就打算以這個身份發行 EP 的，但因為一些事情最後沒有發行，希望未來有機會分享那些未能釋出作品。

這是 mōrch 的首張單曲『大城市』希望大家喜歡！

Hello everyone~

This is mōrch, one of my side projects.

It's an abbreviation for 'monster orchestra' signifies a persona where I can explore different styles without with featuring artists and musicians, so you can expect me to collaborate with many artist and musicians in the future.

Originally planned to release its first Extended Play back in 2015, but due to some unforeseen circumstances, I had to put it on hold, hopefully I will be able to share those songs with you all one day.

This is mōrch's debut single『大城市』(big city) hope you like it!

抱歉啊各位⋯

我知道⋯我在官方網站還有社群網路的存在感上更新得實在是無可救藥的慢。

但是，我有個令人興奮的消息要告知各位！那就是⋯我的幻想友人，the Other I 的首張單曲 Flux，今天正式在 Bandcamp 還有 iNDIEVOX 上販售了！

Flux 原本是今年初參與惡名昭彰的 10 Films 10 Days 時創作的（笑）。當初是為了我的實力派友人 Gerry Simeonovas 的動畫而寫，而為了能夠進一步的製作這部動畫和加入新的元素，Flux 也從一首不到 30 秒的作品變成了現在這副模樣。（笑）

在參加今年 10 x 10 的時候，我使用了很多我較不熟悉的元素來創作，甚至還用了假名參加，就為了能夠從其他參加者那邊得到最沒有偏見的評論還有意見（根本就是來鬧的）。後來覺得當初寫 Flux 所使用的一些元素，滿符合我希望以 the Other I 來探索的音樂風格。於是利用了進一步製作 Flux 時的機會來研究，最後也決定以這首歌當作 the Other I 這個音樂人格的出道作品，Gerry 更是大方地為了這張單曲操刀當繪師繪製了保括上面這張美麗的繪圖！

對這次的成果本山人是非常之滿意，更希望你們會喜歡！而且也希望這能夠彌補到我距離上次發行單曲到現在的失蹤歲月！

Apologies people...

I know... I am awful at updating the website and my social media presence, but, I have something exciting to announce! and that is.... the debut single Flux, by my imaginary friend the Other I is now available on both Bandcamp and iNDIEVOX!

Flux is a piece that was made earlier this year during the infamous 10 Films 10 Days collaboration project (Laugh); it was initially written for my talented friend Gerry Simeonova's animation which, we eventually decide to develop the work further, and I made Flux from a merely 30 seconds piece into the thing it became (Laugh). 

During this Year's 10 x 10, I composed mostly using elements I am not familiar with, and even went as far as using a pseudonym to observe other participants' unbiased feedbacks. It turned out the elements I have played around with whilst composing Flux, seemed rather fitting to the styles I hoped to explore with the Other I, so I took the opportunity to experiment further whilst extending it, and decide to have it as the persona's debut release; and Gerry also kindly agreed to illustrate this stunning artwork for it as you can see above!

I am really pleased with the outcome, and I hope you do too! And hope this compensates my absence from the social media and Internet in general since last release!

post-scriptum: This will be the only time I write about the Other I "like this". so treasure it! So... the update I promised you is now here...!

In the past month (maybe a little more...) I have been working on this little project with one of my talented friends, Luci Holland.

The name of the song/project is called... "聲" (pronounced: Shēng).

The word in Chinese, meaning sound, voice, noise. tone, and a classifier for sound in general.

Using this word as an inspiration we applied some strange vocal sounds; improvisations, and also the binaural mixing techniques, to create this sphere filled with voices.

How does it sound...? This, you will have to find out for yourselves!~

Note: The partial binaural effect, comes more effective when listened with headphones.

所以⋯我之前答應的更新終於來了⋯！

在過去的一個月之中（可能還再久一點⋯）我與我一位才華洋溢的朋友 Luci Holland 合作，然後製作了一個小小的作品。

而這首歌／作品的名字叫做⋯“聲”。

依這個字為創作靈感，我們試著融合了一些詭異的人聲，即興的創作模式，還用了雙路立體聲混音，製造了一個充滿人聲的空間。

至於聽起來如何⋯？這就得讓您們自個兒去摸索啦！～

備註：部分的雙路立體聲效果，使用耳機聽會較為明顯。
